Continental Sime Tyre Sdn Bhd (CST) is affiliated with Continental AG, the fourth largest tyre manufacturer worldwide and one of the world's leading suppliers to the automotive industry for tyre and brake technology, vehicle dynamic control, as well as electronic and sensor systems.

Sime Tyres are manufactured by two manufacturing facilities:

Continental Sime Tyre PJ Sdn Bhd (CST PJ) factory is located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and specialises in producing high quality Truck and Bus Radial (TBR) tyres as well as tyres for Agricultural, Mining and Industrial use.
Continental Sime Tyre AS Sdn Bhd (CST AS) factory is located in Alor Star, Malaysia and specialises in producing high quality Passenger Car Radial (PCR) tyres and Light Truck Radial (LTR) tyres.

Its marketing and sales is carried out through Continental Sime Tyre PJ Sdn Bhd.

The smooth running of the organisation’s operations is being carried by a workforce of more than 2,455 employees.

The company has the largest tyre dealer network totalling over 1,200 tyre outlets providing a wide range of car care and tyre services to motorists throughout the country.

Apart from Malaysia, the two plant's capacity also cater for other key countries within the Asian region for example; China, India, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand. Indonesia, and Singapore.

The company's research and development (R&D) activities are being carried out by Continental Sime Tyre Technology Centre Sdn Bhd, which transmits Continental's latest tyre technology to CST factories in Alor Star and Petaling Jaya.

Continental Sime Tyre Technology Centre's laboratories are accredited with ISO/IEC 17025 certifications.
